Long time no update!
Well firstly let me apologise for leaving it so long since my last update to these pages.
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. I've successfully organised two really great track days under the Terminal Velocity banner. I've been on a Cannonball Run, a Driver's Run, and competed at Ten of The Best 4. I've sold my M5 and bought a Porsche 996 Turbo. I've added Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE to the stable and have moved firms to a new employer down in the City of London. I've also done quite a bit of foreign travelling includeing Sicily, Maldives, France, Scotland and so on! So I hope I can be excused for not updating this page more regularly.
Plus of course i've been totally dependant on my mate Ben for updates and he and I haven't seen much of each other lately.
Anyway enough excuses and on with the news.
I've owned my Porsche 996 Turbo since August last year and I have to say it's the best car ever. I've got only one complaint; the sound! It's got a very muted engine tone and even under full throttle it sounds way too sophisticated. Anyway this is going to be dealt with by the addition of a Europipe Stage 2 Loud Exhaust The Europipe should not only give it that "exotic" sound but it will allegedly release around 20bhp
I've arranged to go on another event in July of this year and the car should be ready and all the modifications finished by then. Yes I did say "all" the modifications as I have a few other ideas to liven up the Porsche by the time July comes round. (I'll keep them up my sleeve for now!)
Ruth and I decided with all that I've got on my plate for this year that we don't have time to organise Terminal Velocity 2006. I do plan to organise this event for next year but I really have a plan to make it bigger and better and totally different. Watch this space. Also keep an eye on the website www.tv2005.co.uk.
I'm going to try and do more regular updates to the look and the content of this website. So keep checking back.
Cheers
David
