Welcome to DMC Motorsport

First a bit of history and background: I originally bought my 3000GT (aka The Hulk) back in May 2002 (from Chris Variava in Leicester, a main Mitsubishi dealer) as a totally mint 1999 registered UK car that was totally standard. I won't bore you with the whole story, but suffice to say, at my first meet of the year with the GTOUK Owners Club I was severely bitten by the modifying bug.

Two years and lots and lots of debt later, we have a beautiful car that's been recently dyno'd at 394bhp and 420-ish/lb/ft of torque at the hubs and should be good for 1/4 mile times in the region of 11 seconds. Enough to say its seriously quick but still totally drivable on the road. My main goal was always to have a car that could be driven all around the country and also thrashed stupid on the track where suitable, but not so that it would be a pain to drive the rest of the time. Whilst we are not exactly finished, and I am still suffering some teething troubles, I am now enjoying driving it enourmously and getting to some of the events that I missed last year.

The main event in our calendar this year is the Cannonball Run Europe 2004 which we have entered with a view to raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and its really amazing work. We are Car Number 69 and called Team G.O.S.H. More details are available under the Events and Sponsorship Tabs at the top of the page. My co-driver for this event is André Edmunds, a fellow GTOUK member and owner.
